Toilet block for Traveller stopping sites
A flexible solution
Sanirom offers a response to a legal requirement (the law of July 5th, 2000 which reinforced certain elements of the Besson law of 31st May, 1990) that created a legal duty for local councils to construct Traveller stopping sites and to ensure these were maintained in reasonable condition.

Storage area is locked and not open to the public.
Equipment in the user's area is secured:
anti-vandalism bars, toilet units cast in the paving on request.

Monobloc unitrectangular, fibre reinforced concrete structure with inbuilt storage room. Shallow pyramidal roof in prefabricated concrete (option of tiled roofing or steel tub) Canopy for laundry tub available as optional extra.
When handling the unit as a whole, use ARTEON type holds and ties.
Partitions in fibre reinforced concrete with integral metal doorframe. Treated metal door (baked powder polyester finish), with access to the storage area by a triple lock anti-burglar door. Inside surfaces in PYOLITH type coating on walls and ceiling (glazed stoneware wall tiling an optional extra). Floor in treated concrete (anti-slip glazed stoneware an optional extra).

Toilet / Shower

Outside surfaces treated with polymer or one coat mortar. Artificial lighting provided by sealed fluorescent strip light in the storage room, reaching to the toilets and shower. Heated by electric convector heater in the storage room to prevent freezing of pipes.

Depending on the lay-out,toilets: squat toilet and shower tray in white glazed stoneware, in concrete on request, with presto taps and basin taps. 75 litre electric hot water tank for each shower.
Individual sockets for electrical household appliances:
1 water supply point, 1 electricity supply point.
Types of toilet blocks :
-Single toilet blocks: storage area, 2 cubicles.
(weighing about 7 tonnes - Clearance height - 2.10 m).
-Double toilet blocks: storage area, 2 or 4 cubicles.
(weighing about 12 tonnes
